Afro-Dutch EPC Ltd. is a project management and EPC company registered in Kenya and headquartered in Nairobi, delivering energy, process and industrial facilities across East Africa and the Middle East.
How the company was formed
Capital projects in East Africa are engineered to international standards but succeed or fail on local execution: permitting, supply chains, subcontractor capability, site labour and the many decisions that fall outside the contract documents.
Afro-Dutch EPC was formed to combine international project discipline with local execution capability. The company is a joint venture between Asyla Projects and Broch International Ltd. Asyla has managed capital projects in twenty countries across five continents, among them terminals, storage facilities and electrical infrastructure with budgets between USD 50,000 and USD 25 million. Broch supplies Kenya's major operators, including TotalEnergies, Tullow Oil and East African Breweries, and brings established regulatory and logistical knowledge of the market.
We work across the full project chain: feasibility, FEED and detailed design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover. Clients appoint us as project manager, owner's engineer or EPC contractor, according to the structure that suits the project.

How we work
Consistent standards
The same codes, review discipline and safety requirements apply on every project, whether the site is a gas facility in Turkana, a beverage plant in Nairobi or a warehouse on the Mombasa road.
Local capability
Kenyan engineers and regional suppliers are built into the project team, and the operating knowledge developed during delivery stays with the client at handover.
Transparent reporting
Schedules are built to be achievable and costs are reported as they stand. Where a problem arises, the client hears it from us early, together with a proposed course of action.
Senior involvement
The team that prepares the proposal is the team that delivers the project. Work is not passed to a separate delivery group after award.
